2-3 Days After

Next 2-3 weeks:

*Continue to wash your tattoo 2-3 times a day and adeptly lotion after.

More tips for healing your tattoo

Wear loose fitted clothing while your tattoo is healing, and keep your tattoo as irritation-free as possible. Keep tattoo open to the air as much as possible.

Keep your tattoo away from any dirty environments and/or pets.

Other Important Things To Know

Over the first few days your tattoo may release a small amount of body fluid or plasma directly after applying the A&D or hand lotion, this should stop after a few times of washing.

During the first week of healing it is normal for your tattoo to itch, look like a sunburn, peel, or scab.

Relief from an itchy tattoo is to wash it and reapply moisturizer.

Do not scratch, pick, or peel your tattoo.

Avoid swimming, baths, hot tubs, saunas and sunbathing until the skin has healed. At least 3-4 weeks.

Do not apply sunscreen to your tattoo until fully healed. Once fully healed use sunscreen to prevent sun damage and fading.
